I forgot to mention…….

I didn't mention something that happened when I did my exam.

When you end the exam, you have a few minutes to comment on any questions you thought were ambiguous, or any other stuff like that. In those few minutes, I had a million thoughts running in my head. I was mentally calculating my score, and as far as I was concerned, I had either failed, or had a very narrow escape one or two points above the pass mark. I was thinking about studying for the exam again, having to wait 2 more weeks to take it, and if I would ever pass it !! When I finally clicked on the button to show your
score, my heart skipped a few beats.

So when I saw my score, I couldn't control myself. I was crying like a girl. It's never happened to me before..........and the other guys in the room thought I had failed my exam, one of them came to 'comfort me' then he saw my score and was probably wondering what the hell was wrong with me. If only he knew.

Yesterday, I had to go down to our office in Dorking, so I couldn't blog, as I was either on the road, or busy working. So I couldn’t blog about ‘Friday the 13th’. And in the true nature of Friday the 13th, I almost got run over by a lady driving a van. She didn’t see a red light, and was speeding down, and I was crossing the road, and she saw me a little late, and slammed on the brakes. She missed me by about 2 feet or so. And I was so scared, all I did was stand in the middle of the road. Couldn’t move, nothing.

OK, this is getting too long, so I had better stop now. But before I do that, let me mention some infamous Friday the 13ths IÂ’ve had:

Friday 13th October 1995: This was the day I started at Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy. I hated that Uni from day one till the day I finished. And on that day I ‘made a friend’ who I loathe till this day, so I guess that was pretty unlucky.

Friday 13th October 2000: I was doing my internship at a company called Manifold computers. On this day, some clever idiot had programmed a virus that wiped out your entire hard drive. So one of our PCs in the office went down, and about 3 at our biggest client, where coincidentally, my dad was working. In fact, his laptop was one of the computers that were wiped out. One of my worst days career wise, exciting, but I had to listen to a lot of crap.

Anyway, let me stop rambling. Have a great weekend people !!
