Six men haved sued Sky TV over a TV programme that was meant to air on November 16th. Find Me A Man was filmed in Ibiza this summer. It challenged six contestants to woo a voluptuous South American brunette called Miram after picking her out from a line-up (and believe me, I've seen the pictures, "she" is really GORGEUOS).
At least some of them reached levels of "intimacy" with her, including kissing, before it was revealed that she was a pre-operative male transsexual. The contestants were said to have been "horrified" by the discovery and one of them is said to have been so angry that he punched a producer. While viewers would know from the start that Miriam is a male-to-female transsexual, the contestants - who include a Royal Marine commando, a ski instructor and an ex-lifeguard - only discover the truth when Miriam picks the winner and then lifts up "her" skirt.
Rod Christie-Miller, from the solicitors Schillings, said none of the men had picked Miriam out of the line-up. "But when they got to Ibiza they found that Miriam had been foisted upon them," he said. The men are understood to have signed release forms consenting to the footage being aired but only before Miriam's secret was revealed. Sky said in a statement: "We have made an initial response to the letter of complaint received yesterday and confirmed that the show is not in Sky One's schedule at present. We continue to examine the complaint in detail."
The six contestants have claims including conspiracy to commit a sexual assault, defamation, breach of contract and personal injury.

This is a new height (or low) in reality TV. Big Brother is still causing shockwaves all over the world, and the American show has started airing. But I recently watched a series called Married by America, where couples were matched up, and meant to marry after living together for only a couple of weeks. At the end, two couples were meant to wed, and at their wedding 'ceremonies', they decided that it was not wise for them to get married.....and decided they couldn't go through with it, hence missing out on the half a million dollar prize. Of the five couples, three of them had sex with each other, one couple even had sex on their first night !! (They made it to the finals, and if they had gotten married, the prize was meant to have gone to them).
So what's next?
