21st Century Psalm 23

First of all, it's good to be blogging again. I've been so busy in the last few weeks, it's been simply crazy. Hopefully, things will slow down as we get to the end of the year. As I slowed down with updating the site, I noticed the number of visits slowed down as well, and last week, I had no visitors !! So tell the world, Boso's back !!

I saw this in one of my church publications, and just had to put it up here. This is dedicated to anyone like me who has had to work on weekends...or go above and beyond the call of Duty.

21st Century Psalm 23

The clock is my dictator, I shall not rest

It makes me to lie down only when exhausted.

It leads me to deep depression.

It hounds my soul.

It leads me in circles of frenzy for activity's sake.

Even though I run frantically from task to task, I will never get it all done,

For my "ideal" is with me.

Deadlines and my need for approval, they drive me.

Beyond the limits of my schedule.

They anoint my head with migranes.

My in-basket overflows.

Surely fatigue and time pressure shall follow me all the days of my life,

And I will dwell in the bonds of frustration forever.

- Marcia K. Hornock

I've also volunteered to join the website team for my church, This Present House. I've added a link to the church website on this site. In fact, I stepped out of a two hour meeting with the Cyberhouse team at about ten minutes to 2. As work progresses, I'll mention it on this blog, so my 'loyal' readers can have a look and send me comments, opinions, etc.

So bye for now, and please visit this blog again (http://theboso.blogspot.com for those of your who are reading this in an email). I will try and update it every day this week, and we'll see where it goes from there.

I'm out !!
